The Dicky Buckle Fund awarded a  choreographic grant to James Bamford for 2024 performance of Bailet under the Stars at Hatch House.

James is the founder and artistic director of Project Dance, an arts organisation which through the creation of original, socially motivated dance theatre and the development of engagement opportunities, aims to break down the barriers and share dance with the masses.

James is an incredibly talented dancer, creative and choreographer, with an impressive portfolio including roles in large brand name commercials and as a ‘Ken Dancer’ in the new Barbie film. Most notably, he took on the role of writer, producer and choreographer for Project Dance’s recent tour ‘Growing Pains’.
