In 2016, the DBF awarded a grant to Principal of Staatsballett Berlin, Ksenia Ovsyanick, to support the creation of an original short choreographic work, performed with Zdenek Konvalina (internationally acclaimed dancer and contemporary artist).

Ksenia’s beautiful new work The Lightness Of Being, premiered at Ballet Under The Stars in July 2016 and has since been enjoyed by audiences both in the UK and abroad.
