In 2018, the DBF awarded a grant to internationally acclaimed choreographer of The Royal Ballet, Alastair Marriott, to support the creation of a new short work.

The resulting creation Limerence premiered at Ballet Under The Stars 2018 and was performed by the dancers Mara Galeazzi (former principal of the Royal Ballet) and Vito Mazzeo (Principal of the Dutch National Ballet).

This stunning piece has since been enjoyed by audiences around the world.
