OPPOSITES ATTRACT
CREATED WITH A GRANT AWARDED TO FABIAN REMAIR
After covid restrictions ended, the charity was thrilled to be back in a position to award a grant to The English National Ballet’s talented dancer turned choreographer Fabian Reimair.
Fabian used the funds to create both the music and choreography for an original work he’d had in process for over a year, titled Opposites Attract.
Fabian had, like many emerging choreographers, found a dearth of funding opportunities for original work creation and approached the charity in early 2022 with an impressive application and which the board unanimously agreed to support. The work premiered later that year at ‘Ballet Under The Stars’ at Hatch House, performed by Fabian and his partner Fernanda Oliveira.
The piece was an enormous hit with the audience and press alike and was featured in the Daily Telegraph.
